EMI Officially Inks Deal With YouTube

EMI, who has got nothing to lose except more money, has inked a deal with YouTube that gives visitors access to videos and recordings from EMI artists. The deal also allows users to massage EMI’s content in their own ways, which is often a dealbreaker in negotiations. The agreement means that all four of the majors are “now official YouTube partners,” according to Chad Hurley, CEO and Co-founder of YouTube.
