Roland & Serato Premier DJ-808 Mixer/Controller

Roland has partnered with Serato to debut the first DJ controller from Roland, the DJ-808. The DJ-808 is a new mixing/performance/live-remixing paradigm and encourages DJs to incorporate additional drums, vocal processing and more into their performances. In addition, it claims to have the deepest Serato integration ever offered in a controller. Even better, Roland has provided an avenue to employ their Aira lineup of electronic music production gear seamlessly into the 4-channel DJ controller.

The integration of a drum machine with a DJ controller opens the door to an entirely new way of DJ expression, and the 808 allows migration between the DJ booth, live stage or the studio. Serato and Roland worked closely to ensure the platters have a truly vinyl-like scratch experience with low latency.
