New Chrome Browser To Feature Web MIDI Support

Google has released the Chrome 43 beta for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android, which now includes Web MIDI support, and an onramp for upgrading legacy sites to HTTPS.

The Chrome browser has gained support for MIDI hardware, which will allow users to create music without installing any specialized software, as the new Web MIDI API allows websites to communicate with connected MIDI controllers and devices. The full version should be available by the end of the month.
