AC/DC Drummer, Phil Rudd, Arrested For Ordering Hits On Two Men

Phil Rudd, the drummer for AC/DC, has been arrested and charged with attempting to have two men killed in New Zealand. The 60-year-old made an appearance in a New Zealand court to listen to a count of attempting to hire a hit man to take out two unnamed men. He was also charged with threatening to kill, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, stated Bay of Plenty Police District representative Kim Perks.
Rudd-busted
The Australian-born drummer moved to New Zealand in 1983, after being sacked by the group. He rejoined the band years later. Rudd entered no plea to the charges at the Tauranga District Court, and was out on bail until November 27. AC/DC’s latest album, “Rock or Bust,” is scheduled for release December 2nd.
