Sony Announces MDR-XB910 Headphones

Ever increasingly late to current music trends, Sony has finally unveiled their answer to Dr. Dre’s ubiquitous Beats headphones. The new MDR-XB910 cans certainly look the part with an updated and chromed MDJ-700 look and claim to sound the part as well with an extended bass presence.

Sony touts it’s “Advanced Direct Vibe Structure” to achieve extreme and heavy bass complimented by a smooth refinement in low/midrange response — basically mirroring Beat’s sonic signature. The headphone’s earcups swivel flat for DJing duties, and an alternative detachable cable and inline remote/microphone are supplied for control of your MP3 player or hands-free cell phone use.
