MixVibes Unleashes U-MIX REMOTE iPad App

MixVibes has released U-MIX REMOTE, a new iPad app. Remote allows DJs to play their favorite tracks, mix with the crowd and rock the party while wirelessly utilizing the iPad’s multi-touch technology and remotely controlling MixVibes’ software.

U-MIX REMOTE is a plug-and-play application that benefits from device memorisation and a connection thanks to a secured Wi-Fi hot spot. Compatible with MixVibes’ CROSS and CROSS DJ software (from version 1.5.4), the application contains a wealth of features including audio effects, locators, CUE points, a precise BPM analyser, automatic loops and automatic beat matching. All DJ elements including volume, pitch sliders and jog wheels for pitch bending and scratching benefit from direct responsiveness.

The application also has unique functions such as multiple display layouts. Depending on how the iPad is held, the display will switch for added user comfort. The track browsing feature synchronised with the CROSS/CROSS DJ software allows DJs to find tracks and get started with ease, while keeping the focus on the dance floor. Track names, time, BPM and pitch are also fully displayed.
