Keep It Bangin Music Announces AKAI MPC2000XL & EMU SP1200 Flash Drives

Keep It Bangin Music, a small concern out of Alaska run by Travis Brady has announced two new flash drives targeted towards lovers of hardware samplers. The drives feature 4GB worth of storage and USB 2.0 connectivity. They come in two flavors: AKAI MPC2000XL sampler and the EMU SP1200 drum machine.

The drives are definitely “cute” and have a certain hip factor when you pull it out to nick some of your pal’s best samples, but the whole enterprise is a bit dodgy. The website currently has no contact information and there’s also the question of proper licensing…

But if you’re inclined to throw caution to the wind and want one of these pups before Akai’s patent police slap the cuffs on Mr. Brady, then by all means pre-order away…

Keep It Bangin Music’s Sampler 4GB drives will set you back $39.95 plus shipping. More information on the Keep It Bangin Music AKAI MPC2000XL sampler and the EMU SP1200 drum machine Flash drives.
