H. G. Fortune Updates The Dreammachine To Version 2.0

H. G. Fortune has updated The Dreammachine to version 2.0. The graphically-challenged, backing music synthesizer is intended to act as an electronic backing band, so you may want to stop reading now.

The Dreammachine V.2 features reworked controls with an adaptation of the X/Y SuperModulation of the STS-33 in order to have a more efficient and even deeper control to the enhanced sound generator.

It is a self running machine which can be transposed so this is ideal e.g. to provide backings of complex athmospheres and soundscapes for live performances. The concept of the Dreammachine is based on very slow running LFO being used for wavesequencing and modulations. Thus realtime editing is not as one might expect it. This is a machine for slow motion.

The Dreamweavermachinething will set you back €119 plus a pair of reading glasses. There’s some convoluted pricing promotion going on now, so you should check their website before year end if you’re interested. More information on the H. G. Fortune The Dreammachine.
