MTV Set To Announce Rock Band Deal With The Beatles?
MTV Networks has scheduled a big press conference today that will reportedly announce a licensing arrangement with the Beatles to incorporate the Fab Four’s catalog into the company’s popular Rock Band video game.
In their invitation MTV revealed that they had reached an “exclusive agreement” with Apple Corps (executor of all things Beatles) to develop an “unprecedented global music project.” No other details were disclosed.
Does this mean that the band is finally wading into the digital download waters? One can only hope…
