Mixed In Key Upgraded To Version 4
Mixed In Key has announced that it has updated its DJ tool to version 4.
Features:
» Analyze the key of MP3 and WAV files
» Automatically save identified keys into MP3 ID3 tags
» Drag-and-drop results to create browsable collections (similar to playlists in iTunes)
» Display harmonically-compatible songs
» Drag-and-drop into Ableton Live, M-Audio Torq, Native Instruments Traktor, Serato, Virtual » DJ and most CD burning applications
» Tempo for each song
» Search for a specific key or song name
» Store key results directly into the filename (ex: Axwell – Feel The Vibe – B Minor.mp3)
Enhancements:
» Improved design and algorithm
» Ability to create playlists in “Browse Collection”
» If the song doesn’t sound perfect (the volume is too loud, it has too many clipped peaks, the song is off-key, etc), Mixed In Key will show a gentle warning. It will also suggest how to improve your MP3 or WAV files to make them sound great.
» Create keywords for each song to make them easy to find. Type in words like “anthem” or “fall 2008” and search for them later
» Minor bug fixes
