Electro-Voice Unveils RE97-2Tx Headworn Microphone
Electro-Voice has debuted the RE97-2Tx headworn microphone. We thought that these puppies went out of style when The Backstreet Boys decided to hang up their spurs, but apparently houses of worship, corporate AV, theater and other venues have picked up the slack. The RE97-2Tx is an ultra-low-profile, back-electret condenser headworn microphone with an omni-directional polar pattern.
The RE97-2Tx is a two-ear hook design with a band behind the head that is fully adjustable; the hooks fold flat for storage and flip all the way over so the microphone boom can be on the left of right side of the mouth. A clothing clip to retain the cord and a removable windscreen complete the oh so sexy package.
