Shakira Negotiating With Live Nation For 360 Degree Deal
According to reports, Colombian sensation Shakira is currently negotiating with Live Nation for a 360° deal that will include touring, merchandising and recording.
Live Nation already has a touring relationship with Shakira, which grossed over $100 million according to estimates. Shakira still has two albums to deliver to Epic (Sony BMG) under her current contract. Epic also may want to continue their recording relationship with the singer who’s hips don’t lie, since she’s sold over 50 million records.
Last year, Live Nation signed Madonna to a similar 360° deal for $120 million over 10 years. It has also signed deals with rapper Jay-Z and U2.
