Ultrasone Readies 2008 Headphone Refresh

Ultrasone is readying its next generation of headphones for a 2008 debut. The update starts with Ultrasone PRO (formerly known as PROline), which includes the PRO 550, 650, 750 and 2500 models. New features of all Ultrasone PRO headphones include a semi-hard case for storage and transport of headphones and accessories, including spare earpads, removable cables and 1/4-inch mini adaptor, and an aluminum nameplate.

New features of the Ultrasone HFI line include the addition of the HFI 580 and 780 models with new S-Logic Plus. The S-Logic Plus system is the enhanced version of S-Logic based on the earcup design of Ultrasone’s limited-run Edition 9 headphones. This system enables a level of acoustic fine-tuning with even more neutral sound impression and optimized distance perception of voices and instruments, according to the manufacturer. The Ultrasone HFI 2200 also receives an update with an aluminum nameplate, MU metal shielding and velvet transportation bag.

The Ultrasone DJ line will also be updated. The DJ1 model now features S-Logic Plus, an aluminum nameplate, MU metal shielding and velvet transportation bag. The DJ1 PRO model is enhanced with aluminum nameplate and a hard case for storage and transport.
