Prosoniq Announces New AudioUnit Plug-Ins
Prosoniq is porting their entire VST/RTAS plug-in line up to the AudioUnit (AU) format for both the Intel and PowerPC Mac models running MacOS X 10.4 and above. Their first AudioUnit product, the AU version of Prosoniq Morph, a realtime audio morphing plug-in, will be available in mid-December.
Other plug-ins will follow in 2008 including Dynasone, Ambisone, VoxCiter, Roomulator, PiWarp, OrangeVocoder, and the free NorthPole plug-in. The Prosoniq AU plugs are compatible with all popular supported hosts such as Logic, GarageBand, AudioHijack Pro, AULab and others.
A crossgrade for owners of current Prosoniq RTAS and VST products will also be available for €29 for any individual plug-in, or €49 for the VST/RTAS Bundle which contains Dynasone, Ambisone, VoxCiter, Roomulator and PiWarp. Registered users will also be able to upgrade from any individual VST/RTAS plug in product to the AudioUnit PlugIn Bundle for €79.
