Grundig Announces MPixx FineArts Personal Media Players
Grundig has announced two new MPEG4 personal media players, the MPixx 7000 and the MPixx 4000.
The MPixx 7000 FineArts is available in two or four GB flash memory configurations, and touts a high-contrast, 2.4 inch, 262,000 color TFT display, an intuitive, blue backlit touchpad, an integrated loudspeaker, brushed aluminium housing, a micro SD card slot and a double earphone connection. The 7000 supports playback of all types of audio and video formats. It contains USB 2.0, and an integrated FM radio with RDS and 25 presets, and the abiliity to one-button-record radio broadcasts as MP3s.
The MPixx 4100 is available in a black glossy finish, 1 GB of built in memory, with the ability to bump that up to 5 GB via the SD card slot, and sports a 3.5 inch, 262,000 color TFT display. It also contains a FM radio with 30 presets, a speaker and dual earphone jacks. The lithium polymer battery is claimed to last 20 hours.
