Guitar Hero Creators Ready Co-op RockBand
Harmonix, the creators of Guitar Hero, are now readying a co-op game for a Holiday 2007 release. Rockband takes the paradigm of Guitar Hero to the next level by adding drums and a singer to the mix. They have even licensed Fender’s famed Stratocaster for the guitar controller, although the spendy Guitar Hero 2 controller will work with Rockband.
Harmonix set up a website for Rockband that allows for song suggestions, but it is hosted on super-slow servers with a dodgy Flash Intro, so beware.
Rockband should be available sometime in November. No pricing has been announced. More information on Harmonix Rockband.
