Universal To Join iTunes Plus DRM-Free Party?

Universal is currently in negotiations with Apple about participating, on a limited scale, in their iTunes Plus service that sells DRM-free, higher-fidelity songs, albeit with the buyer’s identification watermarked into each individual track purchased.
