Belkin Announces My Best FM Transmitter Tool
FM transmitters, for listening to your iPod in the car, don’t usually work all that well, but for those of you who have plunked down your hard earned cash for such a device, Belkin has debuted a new service to help you find the best empty station in your locale.
Belkin’s new online tool, My Best FM, locates the best FM radio frequencies from which to play your MP3 player clearly through your car stereo. Simply go to MyBestFM, and enter your zip code or city and state. The service will search a comprehensive database of FM radio frequencies and list the ones with the clearest transmission in your area. Although Belkin’s clearly got ulterior motives for the service, this is definitely a help.
