Sony/ATV Buys Leiber/Stroller Music Catalog
Sony/ATV Music Publishing has acquired the music catalog of songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller for an undisclosed sum. The catalogue contains more than 40 Top 40 hits, including “Stand By Me,” “Love Potion #9” and and “Jailhouse Rock.” Sony/ATV Music Publishing is a venture between Sony Corp. and Michael Jackson.
Chemical Brothers Ready “We are the Night”
The sixth studio album from the Chemical Brothers, “We Are the Night”, will drop in June with a festival and US tour to follow.
