Stanton Releases T.90 Turntable & S.300 CD Player

Stanton has released two new uninspiring products for the DJ market that bolsters our recent story on the troubled manufacturer. The S.300 Tabletop CD Player supports MP3 playback and comes in a completely mundane chassis, which the concern calls “the stylish design that is pure Stanton.” (I don’t know what the crew at Stanton has been smoking, but the S.300 below is anything but “stylish.” –Ed.)

Features:
• Single table top CD player with MP3 playback
• Anti-shock Buffer Memory
• 10 Key Quick Search
• Instant Start and Auto Cue
• Digital Output
• Fader Start
• Selectable Pitch Control [+/-8%,12%,16%]
• Pitch

The Stanton T.90 USB is a professional quality turntable with high-torque direct drive motor and a USB output. With Key Lock built-in, DJs can adjust the tempo of a record without affecting pitch, while USB and S/PDIF digital outputs make the T.90 USB great for archiving vinyl.

Features:
• High-torque direct drive motor and unique design
• USB and S/PDIF output
• S-Shaped tone arm for superior tracking when scratching
• Key Lock (Master Tempo) to adjust the tempo of a record without affecting pitch
• 2 Start/Stop switches for mix or battle setup
• 3 playback speeds (33, 45, 78 RPM), plus Quartz Lock and target light
• Pitch control slider with selectable range (+ / – 8%, 12%)
• Includes Stanton 500B cartridge, slip mat and cloth dust cover
• Includes software to convert records into digital recordings or CDs, edit MP3, and WAV audio files

The Stanton T.90 and S.300 will make their premier at MusikMesse and will start shipping sometime in April. No pricing has been announced. More information on the Stanton T.90 and S.300.
