Weekend Fun: The SkateSlider

Transform your in-line skates into mini skis!

It took long enough for someone to figure this one out: slap on some mini skis to your rollerblades, point ’em downhill, and see what happens! Apparently, hilarity ensues…

The company claims that you can take these puppies out on a real ski slope, but we’re thinking cross country applications may be a better bet if you don’t want to visit your orthopedist on a gurney.

All you need to do is screw the runners to the front and rear axles. The runners can attach to most inline skates, and the mechanics are reportedly quite similar to skating. Made of easy-gliding 8mm (1⁄3″) thick plastic, which fits most rollerblades with interchangeable rollers.

The Skateslider will set you back £34.50. More information on the Skateslider.
