Behringer Updates The B-Control DeeJay BCD3000

Behringer has updated their cluttered B-Control DeeJay BCD3000 DJ controller. The B-Control DeeJay BCD3000 lets you play, mix and scratch digital files if your fingers are the size of GI Joe. The new BCD3000 contains a mixer, dual-player, effects, mic/phono preamps and a full-fledged monitor section, this 4-channel USB audio interface works well with the included Native Instruments Traktor 3 LE DJ software or most other DJ software, running on Windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems.

We thought that the BCD2000 was one of the worst DJ controllers on the market. Its cheap, small and cluttered interface was in no way conducive to making great, fluid mixes. The only reason that Behringer came out with a 3000 is because the major players have all introduced new models at NAMM. But fans of Behringer should not worry, they’ll clone the Xponent, FinalScratch OPEN/NI Audio 8 DJ, etc. for you next year.

Features:
• Supports MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, WAV and AIFF files
• Includes Native Instruments Traktor 3 LE DJ software with iTunes import
• Powerful 4-channel USB audio interface with 24-bit converters
• Low latency operation under Windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems
• Dual player, mixer, effects, 2 phono preamps plus a full-fledged monitor section
• 2 very small jog wheels to control typical DJ functions like scratching, pitch bending and cue searching
• 3-band kill EQ, loop buttons, pitch and level faders per channel plus a crossfader
• 2 internal phono preamps to mix your vinyl records with MP3 files or run the BCD3000 as a digital DJ mixer with full effects control
• Internal microphone preamp with dedicated Level and EQ controls
• Dedicated control elements for play, cue, loop, pitch bend, search, effects and more
• Metal chassis

In Behringer’s actual marketing words:
“You’ve waited long enough. Go to your local dealer, and make sure this hot babe is yours.”
(Uggh! I think a little bit of throw-up just came up into my throat. –Ed.)

The best thing about the B-Control DeeJay is of course the price, it will retail at $299.99. More information on the Behringer B-Control DeeJay BCD3000.
