Furman Announces New Reference Series Power Conditioners
Furman Sound has announced a refined new look and enhanced features for its Reference Series power conditioners. The bold yet elegant new designs feature smooth contours of black steel and silver brushed aluminum complemented by clear blue LED lights. New “dual screen” technology adds greater noise reduction for increased performance.
The new model Reference Series units will be designated with a letter “i” at the end of each model number to differentiate them from the original series. The new family of power conditioners features the same uncompromising level of performance customers have come to expect from Furman. However, in addition to the technologies which made the original so popular, such as Discrete Symmetrically Balanced Power, Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) and virtually non-sacrificial surge suppression, the IT-Reference 15i and IT-Reference 20i have been optimized with a new “Dual Screen” technology which provides greater noise reduction for the clearest audio and images.
The Future: Right on Furman!! David Keller, Vice President of Marketing, is probably directly responsible for bringing Furman’s designs into the new millennium after several industry insiders complained to the concern about the great technology, but the uninspired aesthetics. This makeover should certainly spur sales, especially in the home theatre market. Kudos to Furman for making the change.
