Allen & Heath iLive Digital Mixing Console Set To Ship In January

Allen & Heath looks like they’ll be rocking their new iLive digital mixing system at NAMM, and is set to ship the units to retailers early in the new year. The iLive system has been shipping to Allen & Heath’s distributors for a couple of months now, but these systems are only for limited demos while the operating system gets ironed out.

Designed for live sound applications and featuring an extremely flexible architecture with distributed audio and control, the iLive digital system was developed from over 35 years experience in professional audio. It is targeted at applications in live shows, theatre, and sound contractor sectors. The new iLive affordable digital console range with large-scale system distribution and configuration possibilities now brings an intuitive, analogue feel to digital mixing. The system was originally previewed at PLASA 2005, but has taken quite a long time to bring to market due to resolving the continual software issues.
