Moby Offers Remix Contest
Moby is offering punters a chance to remix his classic “Go” via new contest. You can purchase the stems from Beatport.com to construct your own version of the seminal track. Originally released in 1991, “Go” has been updated for 2006 with a new mix and compiled with Moby’s greatest hits.
The first 2 stems are free and the additional deluxe package can be downloaded exclusively at Beatport.com for just $5. You can pass around your remixes to your friends, post them on your MySpace page or upload it to Moby’s website for a chance to win an incredible deluxe suite courtesy of M-Audio, as well as additional prizes from Gibson Guitars, Beatport.com and V2 Records.
The contest is Moby and V2’s way of promoting his Go – The Very Best of Moby Greatest Hits collection, which also includes a new track with Debbie Harry on vocals: New York, New York.
