IK Multimedia Updates Ampeg SVX To Version 1.1 (Universal Binary)
IK Multimedia has updated their bass amp plug-in Ampeg SVX to version 1.1. Ampeg SVX features multiple amps, cabinets, stomps and tuner and ultra accurate modeling of the most sought-after Ampeg gear, with unique DSM technology. Ampeg SVX is easy to use with dozens of presets ready to go.
Ampeg SVX 1.1 provides compatibility for IK Users with Mac Intel Core Duo Systems. Ampeg SVX users may download this software update for free and will no longer require a USB iKey or dongle. Simply follow the instructions for the software-based authorization system to easily install Ampeg SVX 1.1. In addition to Mac Intel compatibility, there are several enhancements that have been implemented into Ampeg SVX 1.1, such as Pro Tools 7 native support and improved CPU efficiency.
Also available in the update is the standalone version of Ampeg SVX 1.1 which includes SpeedTrainer, an audio player with pitch and speed controls that make it perfect for learning ANY of your favorite songs. SpeedTrainer allows you to drag any WAV or MP3 from your hard disk (even iTunes files!). Set loop points easily for playing over and tracking your preferred riffs. Also, an included metronome (set by BPM or Tap) is very useful for the studying and practicing bassist.
