Ableton Live 5 Cell Phone Controller

We love getting emails like this:

“I thought you might be interested in this. I created a script to control Ableton Live from a bluetooth cellphone using Salling Clicker. I actually have 2 other scripts as well, one for Pro Tools and one for Logic Pro that have been available for free for a while all ready. But this new one is really quite different because unlike the other two apps which the script was made to assist in tracking, LiveController is made to assist in performing. And it’s just pretty fun. As you can imagine, I would be grateful if you decided to run a story on it.”

No problem Jason! And away we go…

LiveController is a script created by Jason Kramer that works in conjunction with Salling Clicker to control Ableton Live from your cellphone. You get 15 assignable commands, 4 of which repeat when held, and a Play/Stop toggle. Assign commands to clip or scene starts, solos, mutes, effect parameters, or just about anything you wish. It’s a great way to get away from the computer UI when performing.

Product Requirements:
• Ableton Live
• Salling Clicker
• A CPU with a Bluetooth module
• Compatible Bluetooth-equipped cell phone

LiveController only costs $2 bucks and is available now for download. More information on LiveController.
