Synapse Audio Updates Orion Platinum To 7.1
Synapse Audio has released version 7.1 of Orion Platinum. Orion Platinum is a complete virtual studio software, including multitrack audio recording, a mixing desk with sub busses and effect returns, as well as powerful sequencers, generators and effects. All common interfaces, VST, DirectX and ReWire are fully supported. Orion Platinum ships with a massive 1 GB sound library of more than 900 royalty-free presets and high quality multisamples. Using the four-bus Mixer and Master Section, you can build advanced mixes in no-time, and the MultiFX control lets you create complex effect routing. Demo songs and tutorials are included as well.

• User switchable Wallpapers (BMP, JPG, PNG supported)
• Song info image supports now 132×132 JPG, PNG files
• Files recognized by Sampler can be dropped directly into Orion
• FXP/FXB saving added for VST effects (loading was already possible)

Changes:
• Cursor Follow shortcut on both playlist and pianoroll is now Shift+S (not S or F anymore)
• Playlist/pianoroll Grid toggle is Shift+G
Bug fixes:
• Loading invalid Wave file caused crash
• Recording Patterns caused hang/crash
• Playlist patterns and audio segments jittered when scrolling
• Hidden Drumrack controls were drawn on MIDI automation
• Drumrack track name not updated properly when track renamed
• Screamer Filter Select label displayed incorrectly
• Soft Saturation EQ denormal problem
• Hosting Rewire clients not working
• Playlist shortcut ‘J’ didn’t work if smooth follow was enabled
• Switching Timebase during playback caused problems
• When adding Steinberg Plex Orion crashes
• Audio engine hangs when trying to remove last Drumrack Track
• VSTs could not synchronize on time signatures properly
