Terrafugia, Inc. is developing the Transition flying car. There have been a multitude of other flying car companies, but these guys are actually taking deposits. “The Transition is a road-able aircraft that will be able to land at the airport, fold up its wings, and drive down the road.” Their web site really sucks with almost no information, but there’s a fun animation of the flying car in action.
