You’ve heard of Player Pianos, they’be been around for a long time, but a self-playing violin??
Well, the dream of developing such an instrument is now a reality. Gulbransen has developed such an instrument that plays itself without the use of digitally sampled sounds. Rocket science you say? Well, you’re not far from the truth. The Virtuoso was created by a former NASA worker who teamed up with the retired President of a military technology company to create the $17,500 instrument.
