WorkshopLive somehow secured a $3.25 million round of funding from GIV Venture Partners. WorkshopLive is a poorly designed website that provides online music instruction.
A unique aspect of WorkshopLive is their ability to develop a customized curriculum and utilize multiple teachers for each lesson. Currently the school offers instruction in Guitar and Keyboards in various genres. The Massachusetts-based company will hopefully use the money for a site redesign, public relations, advertising and to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy.
