Feena Electronics Announces New DJ MIDI Controller
Feena Electronics announced the release of the FMDJ9303 controller for use with MIDI enabled DJ software including Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio, Ableton Live and MixVibes Pro.
The FMDJ9303 MIDI controller is designed for the professional DJ and features a double deck for mixing two digital audio files, eight knobs controlling high, mid, bass and gain for each deck, two sliders controlling pitch, one cross fader, two pitch bend joysticks, eight effects knobs, 50 LED back-lit push buttons, and kill switches for each EQ.
The FMDJ9303 is fully compatible with both the Mac OS X and Windows XP operating
systems, no drivers are necessary, and all MIDI controls are fully assignable via the
included Feena MIDI Tweaker software. Totaling only 1.75 inches in height, and housed in a rugged steel enclosure, this MIDI controller is specifically designed for maximum portability and is thin enough to easily toss in a bag with a laptop. The unit is USB bus powered, eliminating the need for an external power adapter or batteries.

The Future: Currently the controller values are hard coded so you cannot freely assign any knob to any controller value. A real drawback. Feena claims that it is working on changing this via a future firmware update, but this is a serious marketing and development misstep.
