Microsoft Set To Update Windows Media Player
Microsoft is readying a new version of Windows Media Player for XP. The new player, which will be built into the new Vista operating system, is designed to offer better synching with portable devices, but not the iPod, make it easier to browse through a tremendous library of music, and be tightly integrated with Urge, a new subscription and download music service co-developed by Microsoft and MTV Networks. A specific release date has not been announced.
